RVA Sustainability Awards

Sustainability in building, design, landscaping, grounds and activities is becoming more and more important, and many retirement village operators and their residents are working hard to create a sustainable future for their village and the community around them. The RVA wants to recognise and reward the best of these initiatives.

• APL Operator-led Sustainability Award 2024
• Resene Resident-led Sustainability Award 2024
• Bunnings Trade Resident-led Gardening and Landscaping Award 2024

The award criteria are deliberately broad to encourage as many operators and residents as possible to enter. We expect there to be media involvement, webinars to share ideas, articles in the RVA’s newsletter and on social media, as well as the honour of being chosen as the best in their field.

Entries can be lodged from Tuesday 23 April. The deadline to complete the entry form is Friday 21 June 2024.

Winners will be announced at the RVA’s Conference Gala Dinner in Wellington on Tuesday 27 August 2024. There may be an opportunity to take part in a webinar to describe your project.
